Collaboration with Cartana and Stockholm University

Our portfolio company, LUNAPHORE, announces a collaboration with Cartana and the Science for Life Laboratory of Stockholm University to deliver a complete automated solution that will greatly simplify In Situ Sequencing (ISS) workflows in laboratories.
Cartana AB is a Swedish biotech company mapping gene expression in brain tissue via In Situ Sequencing. Dr. Mats Nilsson, from the Science for Life Laboratory of Stockholm University, has a long track record of scientific achievements within molecular analysis tools and their translation into commercial products with primary focus on infectious and cancer diagnostics. The joint business effort will ensure that ISS throughput and reproducibility in standard laboratories will be greatly improved.

This project received funding from the Eurostars-2 Joint Programme with co-funding from the European Union´s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme.
