Room8 raises initial funding

Our new portfolio company, ROOM8, raised initial funding of undisclosed amount. Backers included Storm Ventures, Avanta Ventures, Plug and Play Ventures and Alpana Ventures.

ROOM8 is a data company optimizing co-living through roommate matching and apartment search services. Funds will be dedicated to make key hires in Scottsdale, Arizona, and San Francisco, California, as well as to increase the platform capabilities.
